Ortofon | Headphones

Ortofon, a Danish company, is a name that has been around for 90 years, and most would know Ortofon for their exceptional cartridges for turntables, and may have even owned one at some stage. But for those of us who have moved on from turntables, Ortofon Japan are offering ear-canal headphones, high-end cables and a great range of loudspeakers.

Up to now all of their products have been made in Denmark, but these new products are all from their Japanese operations. From the drivers in their speakers to the ear-canal headphones, they are all made in Japan. The quality of these products is second to none, and ensure Ortofon's reputation lives on for another 90 years.

"The e-Q7 have the best bass here, with good midrange and top end detail , but the overall lingering thought of our time with these little beauties, is one of balance. Yes the bass output is huge, but it is well balanced against the midrange and top end detail."
